This package includes the breakout game and a timeline related to the discovery of King Tutankhamun’s tomb, a history of archaeology, and a comic book related to the discovery. You can use these guides to help you prepare your students before completing the breakout game.

Besides the instructions for the game, the package includes the following within the folders, files, and .zip files:

1. Archaeological_terms.zip—When unzipped, this file contains a web-based listing of terms. You can use it to post on your website.

2. Archaeological_terms_with_quiz.zip—This file is the same as #1 and also includes a quiz at the end. Post it to your website and have students take the quiz online.

3. Avery Labels Template —You can use them to print out round labels that students can find within the box once they successfully open it.

4. Breakout Answer sheet – Used to list the combinations, teams, and how they figured out the clues.

5. Crossword Puzzle folder – Contains the crossword files needed within the breakout game.

6. Carter and Tut timeline—This is presented in several formats, including video, PDF, and PowerPoint presentations. A .pdf and .docx versions of the timeline are also included.

7. The Curse of the Tomb – Video briefly describes the curse of the tomb and where it might have originated.

8. Directional Lock Questions—These are available in various formats for you to print out and distribute to your students’ teams.

9. History of Archaeology—There are two versions—a .mp4 and a zipped version; when unzipped, it is a web-based version of the video. The web-based version can be posted to your website and contains a quiz that students can take after watching the video. A .docx and .pdf versions are also included.

10. Multiple-Choice Questions—The questions used in the web-based quizzes on terms and history are available in both .docx and .pdf versions.

11. QR Codes – Used for the game and the jigsaw puzzle for the breakout game.

12. Technology Through The Ages Comic Book – Vol. 2 – A comic book based on the discovery of Howard Carter.
